Sunday!!

Hey girlies! I am very lucky because I have no school tomorrow. It's a teacher workday. Teeheehee, I am just envisioning me waking up late and making myself some oatmeal with no rush at all! Yes, be jeal :)

I finally decided to make some tea-infused oats! And, they were delicious! I used an orange-tangerine zinger tea and it turned out quite tasty. Here's what my oatmeal contained:
  • 1/3 cup oats, 2/3 cup tea (hot water with tea bag)
  • banana
  • dark choc. chips and some true north nuts
  • smuckers natural PB
Yummy!

Lunch was the same as yesterday, well kinda. I had the flatout wrap with honey ham and provolone, but had kashi crackers and pretzels. Sorry if the ham looks purple like yesterdays! Kiki pointed that out to me. Haha :)

Then we were off to the grocery store! I didn't take any pics of the foodies, but you will be seeing many, many of them this week! Here's the basics that will hopefully interest you!
  • Produce: apples (lots!), bananas, a mango, blueberries, and clementines
  • Fridge: garden spinach flat out wraps (!!!), stoneyfield organic strawberry yogurt, string cheeses, more provolone, fresh (pre-washed, in a bag, ready to go wohoo!) SPINACH, and yet more yogurts
  • Pantry: New Natural PB (I think it's by Jiff or Peter Pan, but I saw that it's natural and it was on sale for two dollars!), organic PB (just had some!!), dried apricots, pumpkin pie kashi bars, dark chocolate, and veggie chips/pretzels
  • Freezer: All natural cookies and cream ice cream, all natural choc/vanilla ice cream, Ben and Jerry's Half Baked (FROYO!)
All in all, a WONDERFUL trip to the grocery store. After getting home, I snacked on an apple, and then my mom & dad & I went to the gym together! It's so fun to work out with them. I did:
  • 3 min. stat. bike
  • 40 min. elliptical
  • leg work (hip abduction, calves, hamstrings, quads, and butt)
  • ab work
  • foam roller and stretching
Glorious!!

When I got home, I was hankering (?!) for a smoothie. I whipped out my magic blender and made myself a lovely Berry Smoothie. I threw in some strawberry yogurt, blueberries, 1/2 a banana, blackberries (frozen), and raspberries (frozen). It was really good and it made me feel good to drink. In my first attempt I put in some Vanilla Protein Powder, but the vanilla was way too overpowering and I just left it out.

The rest of my night included some yummy eats (greek pizza!) and some MORE fun with the BF. My brothers also made me crack up tonight. Gosh, I love my family. Have a lovely night everyone!
